Japan L.A. celebrates its 5th anniversary with Kittens & Ice Cream

JapanLA has turned 5 Years Old! To celebrate a "Kittens & Ice Cream" Art Show was held in Los Angeles, CA on June 4th. Over 40 artists & designers made cat themed art, clothing, and jewelry.

For those of you who don't know what Japan L.A. is, it is a in Los Angeles where you can buy cute things inspired by Japanese and Los Angeles pop culture.

Part of the proceeds from the art sales went to Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue & Support. These are individuals who have been going into dangerous areas of Japan, due to the high radiation caused by the tsunami and earthquakes. They are providing them with food and shelter until their owners can come back for them.
